If you know an adult who wants to complete his or her diploma, encourage him or her to:
- Review the adult credit section of the peelschools.org website for course information and what is required to enroll.
- Encourage the person to make an appointment with a guidance counsellor to review his or her background and determine the courses needed to graduate or to upgrade skills. Students may be able to earn a number of credits based on previous experience through the Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) program. - Explore post-secondary career and education options available after earning a high school diploma. These include opportunities in the arts, business, health/sciences, information technology, social sciences and the trades.
- Find out about available services including nearby child care and public transportation in Mississauga and Brampton.
