How To Use this SiteThis site helps you explore your options after high school graduation. You can start by clicking on the boxes in the centre of the site – Peel graduates will tell their own video stories about making their way. You will also find: myBlueprint.ca is an interactive education planning tool that gives you the ability to make the most informed decisions about your education. You can obtain a username and password from your high school guidance office to use this site. The Guidance section gives you info about things like study skills, EQAO preparation, resources for parents and FAQs. Self-development contains resources and self-exploration tests to help you understand the question "Who am I?" and the importance of feeling OK. It will help you identify your own learning style, interests and traits. Career planning helps grade 7 and 8 students get started in this process. It also tells you about how to register for courses, co-op placements and the five pathways to success after high school – apprenticeship, college, independent living, university and work. Program planning includes the course calendar, creative learning choices, alternative programs and special education. You can also explore career options and educational requirements in different sectors – arts, business, health/sciences, IT, social sciences and trades/tech. |
