Making My Way

Literacy and beyond tip sheets for parents

Make a difference in literacy and beyond—practical ways parents can boost learning

On April 1, 2006, the Peel District School Board hosted its fifth annual parent conference. With over 1,200 parents attending, Make a difference in literacy and beyond—practical ways parents can boost learning was a tremendous success again this year. The conference provided parents of children at all grade levels with useful tips to help their children be successful in school. Many parents found the tips they received from over 60 Peel educators valuable.

The following tip sheets will help extend this learning to parents of all Peel board schools. Choose from over 50 tip sheets with practical, hand-on ideas for you to use to help boost your child's learning. Feel free to share these tip sheets with other parents.
